May 19, 2011 · I bought a 'tuning chip' from tdi tuning and fitted it - yes the car is slightly quicker and yes the fuel economy gauge appears to show that it uses less fuel (funny it still costs exactly the same to run though!!) A mate at work told me that these so called chips are nothing more than a resistor that fools the fuel system to provide more juice.

Aug 19, 2021 · No product is perfect, so there are always going to be some cons. In this case, the main negative about the Superchips Flashpaq seems to be the construction of it. Seeing as the user will be using it in garage areas, it should be tough. The case of the Flashpaq is weak. It feels like cheap plastic.
